New Blog Post about the Wicked Home

af Emma Klakk Christensen 8. marts 2023

We have published a new blog post on our research blog about the Home, the Anthropocene, and the Wicked, written by Johan Liekens, who presented at our conference in November. Johan presents the Academic Design Office at KU Leuven ‘The Wicked Home’ and some of the design projects that grew out of it. He writes: “While the aspect of wickedness, with etymological ties to the old English Wicca and so to the notion of witchcraft, refers to more daring ways of exploring, we interpret it also as relating to the notion of wicked problems. Problems that are, as the home is, challenges with an irreducible complexity.” Read the blog post here.

We have invited selected scholars, who presented at our conference ‘STAY HOME: New Perspectives on the Home’ in November 2022 to publish on our blog in 2023. This is the third post in a series of blog posts based on the presentations of the conference.
